Samsung Galaxy S10 X specs leak, including 5G, 1TB of storage, and 5000mAh battery

Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus

We've known for a couple of months now that Samsung is prepping a 5G version of its Galaxy S10 flagship. Today more details on the device have come out, though, and it turns out that 5G won't be this phone's only killer feature.

The Galaxy S10 X is the name of Samsung's upcoming 5G smartphone, according to a report from ETNews, and the device will feature a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Also said to be included is a whopping 1TB of storage and 10GB of RAM.

The high-end specs don't stop there. Samsung is reportedly equipping the Galaxy S10 X with six cameras — four rear, two front — along with an Exynos 5100 chipset and a 5000mAh battery.

Finally, Samsung's Galaxy S10 X is said to include a new "Life Pattern" mode that, according to the Google Translate-d post, will "automate the smartphone function based on the artificial intelligence (AI) based on consumer smartphone usage pattern is applied for the first time."

Considering that this Galaxy S10 X could be a special 10th anniversary edition of Samsung's flagship Galaxy S series, it could make sense that the company would go all-out for this model. This sounds like a pretty insane device with tons of high-end specs, and if today's rumor holds true, we're betting that a lot of folks who weren't previously interested in a 5G phone will change their minds for the Galaxy S10 X.

Samsung will reveal its Galaxy S10 flagship at an event on February 20. The Galaxy S10 Lite, Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ are expected to launch in early March, while this Galaxy S10 X could arrive closer to the end of March.
