Google Fi is getting a retail presence.
Google Fi SIM cards are launching at Best Buy today. The SIM cards are now available online and in more than 500 Best Buy stores. They're priced at $9.99, but they come with a $10 service credit that'll activate within one week after your activation.
One thing to note is that any user, current or new to Fi, can buy a Google Fi SIM and get the $10 service credit if it's activated on Fi.
Google's Fi service has been around for years now, but recently it's been gaining some major improvements. After dropping the "Project" from its name and becoming Google Fi, it expanded support for Android phones and iPhones and rolled out RCS messaging. Now it's getting a presence in hundreds of Best Buy stores, which can help to grow awareness.
