Nearly two years after its launch, YouTube TV is going nationwide.
YouTube today confirmed that YouTube TV is rolling out to another 95 markets today, bringing it to a total of 98 percent of the households in the U.S. "The remainder will follow shortly thereafter," YouTube says. The full list of new markets that are getting YouTube TV today looks like this:

YouTube TV is YouTube's streaming TV service that offers live TV from more than 60 networks for $40 per month. The channels include ABC, CBS, NBC, and FOX as well as ESPN, CNN, Cartoon Network, FS1, FS2, NBC Sports, CNBC, TNT, and USA. You can add premium channels like Showtime and Starz for an additional monthly fee.
In addition to streaming television, a subscription to YouTube TV includes six accounts per household, each with its own login and personalized DVR. That cloud DVR has no storage limits and lets you record shows simultaneously.
It definitely took some time, but it's good to see YouTube TV finally becoming available nationwide. There's no shortage of streaming TV services available, but having more options available to consumers is always a good thing, and now everyone in the U.S. will have the ability to sign up for YouTube TV if they think it's the best service for them.
