IMDb Freedive is a free video streaming service with movies and TV shows

IMDb Freedive video streaming service

Amazon already offers its own video streaming service with Amazon Prime Video, but this week the company launched another video offering.

IMDb Freedive is a new, free video streaming service that's now available in the U.S. Because it's free, IMDb Freedive is ad-supported. You can access it from your computer on IMDb's website and on Fire TV devices in the "Your Apps & Channels" section or by saying "Alexa, go to Freedive." IMDb Freedive will be available more widely soon, including in the IMDb mobile apps.

Because this is a streaming service with the IMDb name, it should come as no surprise that Freedive offers movies for streaming. Some of the titles available include Drive, The Last Samurai, Closer, Last Action Hero, Look Who's Talking, Short Circuit, and Memento. There are TV shows available on IMDb Freedive, too, including Fringe, Heroes, The Bachelor, and Duck Dynasty.

IMDb says that it'll regularly add new titles to Freedive, so you can check back often to see if there's something new to watch.

IMDb Freedive's catalog isn't nearly as deep as some other streaming services, but this is a new source of free movies and TV shows when you're looking for some cheap entertainment. It's good to hear that IMDb is planning to add Freedive to its mobile apps soon, too, as it'll become more useful as a source of entertainment while you're on the go.
