A new version of Fortnite is now rolling out, and it brings with it some notable improvements for Android and iOS devices.
Fortnite v7.30 was announced today, and the update brings with it mobile controller support. On Android, most Bluetooth controller adapters are now supported, including the Steelseries Stratus XL, Gamevice, Xbox One, Razer Raiju, and Moto Gamepad. iOS users can now use MFi controllers like the Steelseries Nimbus and Gamevice.
This update also disables phone vibration if you've got a gamepad attached.
Also of note is that Epic Games has added 60Hz support to select Android phones. The Samsung Galaxy Note 9, Honor View 20, and Huawei Mate 20 X now offer 60Hz support in Fortnite.
Rounding out the mobile improvements in this new version of Fortnite are audio visualization icons for vehicles and Balloons, a fix for a bug that'd cause the Harvesting Tool button to no longer swap back to the previously selected weapon, and a fix for a bug that'd cause your fire button to be disabled after multiple simultaneous button presses.
