Apple today released iOS 11.2 to the public. The main feature introduced in iOS 11.2 is Apple Pay Cash, which lets iPhone owners send funds directly to one another via Apple Pay. The funds can be sent from any credit or debit card associated with the sender's Apple Pay account. iOS 11.2 also introduces faster wireless charging for the iPhone 8, 8 Plus, and X. Last, this update fixes several bugs, including one that causes iOS devices to crash beginning December 2. iOS 11.2 is free to download and install. Apple recommends all users install it at their earliest convenience.
