We can add HMD Global and Nokia to the list of device makers that’ve revealed their Android 8.0 Oreo update plans.
Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer for HMD Global, has confirmed that all Nokia-branded Android phones will be updated to Oreo. This includes the Nokia 8, Nokia 6, Nokia 5, and Nokia 3.
All of our smartphones will upgrade to Oreo, Nokia 3 included. No comments yet on timing so that I don't get into trouble.

Sarvikas didn’t have any info to share about when these Oreo updates will be released, so Nokia owners will have to wait a bit longer for that info. Still, it’s good to see HMD Global get out and confirm which devices will receive Oreo updates because it means that owners of devices like the Nokia 6 and Nokia 3 won’t spend the coming weeks and months wondering if they’ll be updated to the newest version of Android.
