Google today said the Google Assistant will soon be available across a wider variety of devices. Google Assistant, the voice-powered helper, is already available on Android smartphones and smartwatches, and the Google Home speaker. The Assistant is coming to a handful of third-party speakers from the likes of Anker, Mobvoi (pictured), and Panasonic. Just like Google Home, people who own any of these new speakers will be able to say "Hey, Google" to initiate any query. Google said each manufacturer will announce pricing and availability of their hardware separately. Google Assistant is also heading to smart appliances. For example, Google has partnered with LG which is adding Assistant to its washers, dryers, and vacuums. Google says Assistant will come to even more devices in the near future.
