OnePlus 3T and OnePlus 3 getting OxygenOS 4.1.5 with system push notifications, bug fixes, and more

OnePlus may be busy hyping up the impending launch of the OnePlus 5, but that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t have time to show love to its previous devices, too.

OnePlus today announced an OxygenOS 4.1.5 update for the OnePlus 3T and OnePlus 3. This update adds system push notifications for info from OnePlus and also includes a handful of bug fixes and other enhancements.

Here’s the full OxygenOS 4.1.5 changelog from OnePlus:

New additions:

  • Added system push notifications for important information from OnePlus

Updates:

  • Updated network settings for select carriers
  • Updated OnePlus Community app to v1.8
  • Updated Android Security Patch level to 1st May 2017
  • Modified WiFi no internet indication icon

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed storage issue present on 3rd party file managers
  • Fixed VoLTE issue on certain Jio SIM cards
  • Fixed connection issue on Android Auto

Optimizations:

  • Battery
  • WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS
  • Proximity sensor
  • Camera low light focus
  • Expanded screenshot

Other changes:

  • Enhanced system stability

As with most software updates, the OxygenOS 4.1.5 update is going out in stages, which means that you may not see it on your OnePlus 3T or OnePlus 3 for a few days. The update is expected to hit a small number of users today, and when it’s confirmed that everything’s worked as it should, OnePlus will begin a broader rollout.
