Instagram today said users will soon see how many views their video posts receive. Instagram says it is adding this data because view counts are "the most widely expected form of feedback on video." The view count will appear where previously the app showed the number of likes. Likes will still be visible by tapping the view count. Instagram said the feature is rolling out slowly over the next few weeks to its Android, iOS, and Windows Phone mobile apps. Vine, which is owned by Twitter, already displays view counts for user videos. Instagram says more video-focused features are on deck for later this year.
