New Moto G leaks out in promo video ahead of Motorola's official announcement

New Moto G Motorola promo video leak

It looks like we’ll have to wait until tomorrow to get our first official look at Motorola’s new hardware, but apparently Brazilian retailer Lojas Colombo couldn’t wait ’till then to share the news.

The company today prematurely posted a promo video for the new Moto G that highlights many of its features. The video was quickly removed, but it’s since been reposted, complete with a translated description. According to Lojas Colombo, the new Moto G will offer:

  • 5-inch “HD” display (likely of the 720p variety)

  • Quad-core Snapdragon processor

  • Dual-SIM support

  • Dual front-facing speakers

  • Android 4.4 KitKat

  • 8-megapixel camera, secondary front-facing shooter

  • Motorola Shells for personalization

  • Long-lasting battery

The new Moto G doesn’t look strikingly different from the original model, but what it lacks in new design features, it makes up for in spec upgrades. Compared to the first Moto G, this new model has a larger display, improved rear camera and those front-facing speakers.

Motorola has said that it’ll start unveiling its new hardware at 1 A.M. CT tomorrow, Sept. 5. Until then, you can check out the full promo video at the link below.
